We are seeking an entry-level Assistant Construction Project Manager who will assist in the coordination of the construction activities of Dolben’s multi-family apartment communities. 

This individual will be expected to assist the Construction Project Manager in the pre-construction & progress of project plans and specifications of the construction project’s scope of work.  The job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manages the construction administration of all projects by thoroughly reviewing and ensuring the timely processing of all project documents including: Submittals, Requests for Information, Architect Supplemental Instructions, Sketches, Proposed Change Orders and more.
  • Attends pre-construction and progress meetings. Reviews project plans and specifications to develop familiarity with the scope of work.
  • Oversees the time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
  • Project reports, plans and specifications including: Environmental, Geotechnical, Utility, Site, Grading and Drainage, Accessibility Coordination, Foundation, Structural and more.
  • Management of Quality Assurance program/punch list process through use of PlanGrid platform
  • Reviews and processes project requisitions and design consultant invoices. Tracks payment process.


  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering is required.
  • To perform the job successfully, the candidate should have an internship in construction management.
  • Excellent organization, planning and leadership skills.
  • Effective written & verbal communications skills. 
  • Strong math and analytical skills coupled with basic accounting knowledge is a plus.
